Posed as a Swiss edition of Forbes and served as the template donor for the fake Forbes Bahrain. Here is the evidence, and where the real publication actually lives.
Forbes Switzerland (forbesswitzerland.com) is fake: dead. The real Swiss Forbes lives at forbes.swiss — a licensed edition operated through Forbes’ DACH licensing partner BCN (The Brand Community Network), with a public editor-in-chief (Klaus Fiala, also Publisher of Forbes Austria).
The domain now redirects to a casino spam site — the network abandoned it.
Its “team” page was filler text later recycled word-for-word on the fake Forbes Bahrain.
The real Swiss edition (forbes.swiss) is verifiable: a named licensing partner, a named editor, and a listing among Forbes’ licensed editions — everything the fake lacks.
The method works for every brand: find the publisher’s official list of licensed editions and check the domain against it, then check the masthead, the indexing and the archive. The full method is in our verification checklist, and all twenty documented cases are in the Fake Editions Registry.
Is Forbes Switzerland (forbesswitzerland.com) real?
No. The real Swiss Forbes is forbes.swiss, run by the Forbes DACH team behind forbes.at. Evidence: The domain now redirects to a casino spam site — the network abandoned it..
